so farewell then, mulder and scully.
just seen the latest and probably last x files movie as they sat in their little rowing boat heading towards a happy ever after life on a desert island.

they both looked a bit on the old and tired side.
this suggests to me that i must look much the same, since i've been with them since series one.

they've finally realised that the truth really is out there, and they are more likely to find it by living a quiet life on their island.

which is what i've done.

I started watching it when it first came out, but then it got weird so I turfed it. I find that happens with a lot of shows. Like CSI, I really enjoyed it the first season and then POOF it went all wonky on me so out it goes.
I am a die hard "Law and Order" fan and that has not deminished.

  the x files did it for me up to about series seven.

I have to confess, and not many agree, but I liked Dogget and Reyess in the X files and were dissapointed they were not in the latest movie.

I also would like to have seen more of Skinner.

And I feel it was a mistake to have kiled of the lone gun men and the smoking man and Crychek. But what do I know?

  still, i must admit to preferring the x files to much of the stuff being turned out now, with the possible exception of csi.

I'm with neonjake here until the law and order sentence anyway. All these things seem to get a bit mad after a couple of series which is a shame when the concept and acting are really quite good to start with x

    there is a new one on ITV i think - law and order UK, it's ok but has Bradley Walsh in it and he always looks a bit too much like a comedian with a smile playing round his mouth at the most inopportune moments for me to be able to take him seriously
