and just look at the reasonable price for the strawberry gateau - the sign marked a gap where the cake was, so someone must have thought it was good value.
i always make a detour to this shop - which lies between trafalgar square and covent garden.
i think i bought a slice of something once, but a whole gateau ... maybe one day.

while i was there, someone was gazing through the window and said - oh it looks too nice to eat.

she was mad, obviously.
