much as i hate to leave venice behind, i thought i'd post a few pictures of london.
i decided not to do the usual sights, so see what you make of this little collection.

this is just a section of it.
it is such a familiar sight, but just imagine if you'd been given the job of drawing a map of london's tube system ...
i know if i'd done it, it would have looked one of those maps you draw for when people come round to your house, and the last vital bit gets all squashed on the edge of the page because you ran out of room ....
